Mikael Lindskov Jacobsen is a Greenlandic-Danish animation director and animator with a background in live-action filmmaking. Before pursuing animation, he worked as a freelance cameraman and editor, primarily within the documentary genre. In 2025 he graduated from the Animationsinstitut of Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg and is currently based in Berlin.

His graduation film City in the Fox is currently screening on international festivals and won the DEFA Promotion Award for Animation at Filmfest Dresden and the award for Best Animated Film at Shorts Film Festival.
